Our AI reads only your date of birth and state of residence — nothing else.
The image is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers after verification. It is not cached, backed up, or retained in any storage system.
We store only: your first name, your age (as a number), and your state — the minimum needed to provide the service.
Your email address (used to identify your account), first name (from your ID, used for personalization), and age (to confirm 21+ compliance). We do not store your full date of birth, license number, address, or any other ID details.
Your city and state (either from your ID or browser geolocation), used to find dispensaries near you and ensure we're recommending strains available in your area. We store your city/state only — not your precise GPS coordinates beyond the initial verification.
Your answers from the AI interview — desired effects, flavor preferences, experience level, wellness goals, and consumption methods. This data is the core of your personalized recommendations and is stored securely in your profile.
Saved strains, notes, shared recommendation links, and Cannabis Experiences you create. This data belongs to you and is used solely to provide the service.
We use your data for one primary purpose: providing you with personalized cannabis recommendations. Your preferences power the AI matching engine that selects strains from our database of 8,400+ options.
We may generate anonymized, aggregated insights — for example, "users in New York most often prefer sativa strains for daytime use." These insights never identify individual users and are used to improve the service.
We use your email to identify your account and may send you service-related communications (e.g., account updates). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Your account data (preferences, saved strains, experiences) is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Driver's license images are deleted immediately upon completion of the age verification process — typically within seconds of upload. There is no backup or archive of these images.
